Terms of Use

Last updated: 12/03/2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Bowtie One application and Dashboard One workspace (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these terms, you must discontinue use of the Service.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or its systems

  • misuse or disrupt the operation of the Service

  • upload malicious or harmful content

  • violate applicable laws or regulations

You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Use of Risk Analysis Tools

Bowtie One provides tools for modeling risk scenarios, including bowtie diagrams and related analytical features. The Service is intended as a decision-support tool and does not replace professional judgment, safety reviews, regulatory requirements, or formal risk assessments.

Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of any analysis created using the Service. We do not guarantee that outputs generated by the platform are complete, accurate, or appropriate for any specific safety or operational decision.

Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable access to the Service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Access may occasionally be limited due to maintenance, technical issues, or other operational reasons.

We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions, delays, or temporary unavailability of the platform.

Intellectual Property

All software, design, features, and content of the Service — including code, graphics, logos, and documentation — are the property of the company or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service without prior written permission.

User Content

Users may create and store project data, diagrams, and other content within the Service. You retain ownership of the content you create.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.

Termination of Use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, engaged in unlawful activity, or used the platform in a way that harms the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, including decisions made based on analyses created using the Service.
